Friday, July 17th – Annual Fish Fry

Time: 6:00 pm – 11:00 pm

Place: 2205 Front Street Civic Center, Melbourne, FL, 32901

Please pick up your T-Shirt (s), at the front door table upon arrival. There will be lots of great food, games, and prizes throughout the night. Also, our favorite, spectacular, DJ, will be there, Sheree Maye for the weekend.

Theme: Sports Jersey Night!

ATTIRE: Wear your FAVORITE SPORTS JERSEY. For example, the NFL, NBA, MLB, WNBA, SOCCER, HOCKEY, COLLEGIATE, TRACK, etc. with your jeans or favorite slacks to be comfortable.

BOYS/GIRLS: If you’re involved in a team sports from your school or you play in intramural/recreational sports, come on and Represent Your Team!! We want everyone to have a good time!!!

We plan to start at 6:00 PM and some assistance may be needed, so please let us know if you would like to volunteer to help during the weekend. We will certainly appreciate it. You may contact us at: tpurpose12@yahoo.com if you would like to volunteer in any capacity, please let us know.

Secure your Parking Space Early!!

We will meet near the outside-covered table area near the grills to eat some light food. Beverages and water bottles will be provided to stay hydrated. Then we will all walk down to the beach to enjoy! There will be games for the small kids to experience a Carnival at the Beach - Ground games! We will also have some competitive fun activities, for teenagers and adults or you can just walk, run, sit, relax and enjoy the ocean/waves.

We have reserved the East Volleyball Court at Pelican Beach for those individuals who are interested in participating in a short Volleyball Tournament. We hope to have at least six players per team, if not we will decide how many players will be playing from your RSVP. There are rules just like in any sports and no pairing up tall cousins/athletes together. Please contact us know if you’re interested by sending an email to: thelongreunion25@gmail.com or tpurpose12@yahoo.com. by Tuesday, June 30th, so the teams can be drafted and posted by Friday Night on July 17th at the hall. Winners will be announced at the Black and White Sneaker Ball Dinner on Saturday Evening and Awards given.

Please wear your Long Family T-Shirt. Be sure to bring your sunglasses, sunscreen lotion, hats, blankets, towels, etc. (as a reminder, there are no towels or chairs available at the beach, so BYO. Water will be provided on the beach to prevent dehydration.

Attire: Formal/Black Tie Wear

Sneakers should be worn (black & white, black or white)

The Gazebo has been rented for pictures outside the venue for both Friday and Saturday or just for relaxation.

DATE: Saturday, July 18th Annual Beach Party at Pelican Beach - Activities to Stay Fit In 2026 for everyone

TIME: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM

PLACE: Pelican Beach - 1525 Highway A1A, Satellite Beach, Florida 32937

There will be plenty of light foods, snacks, water and beverages served prior to heading over to the beach.

We will convene with all beach activities by not later than 3:00 pm to allow everyone time to go back, relax and get ready for the Long Family Dinner and Festivities for the evening.
